I’m passionate about supporting Bitcoin adoption worldwide, with an extra eye on Sweden. This includes ongoing work with tax authorities, hosting workshops, private meetings, and participating in podcasts and interviews.

This is what I'm doing

Communicate with Skatteverket (Swedens Tax Authority)

I maintain continuous communication with Skatteverket to ensure clarity on how Bitcoin is treated within Swedish tax law. I have even organized meetings where Bitcoiners get the opportunity to meet with Skatteverket to ask questions and discuss collaboration. Surprisingly, they are more helpful and cooperative than people often think!

Educational Workshops

I conduct educational workshops focused on Bitcoin and its various applications. A key focus has been workshops for women because I believe it's essential to increase female participation in the Bitcoin space. In addition to these, I organize other sessions that cover a broader range of Bitcoin-related topics, helping both beginners and seasoned enthusiasts expand their understanding of Bitcoin’s potential.

Boardmember of the Swedish Bitcoin Association

I’m a board member in the Swedish Bitcoin Association, where our goal is to spread awareness of Bitcoin across the country. We frequently engage with the media, responding to inquiries and correcting misconceptions. Every year, we host an annual Bitcoin event designed to educate newcomers and foster a stronger Bitcoin community in Sweden.

Helping Businesses Implement Bitcoin POS Solutions

I assist companies that want to enter the Bitcoin retail space by setting up point-of-sale (POS) terminals that accept Bitcoin. This includes guiding them through the technical, legal, and financial aspects of adopting Bitcoin as a payment method.

Why Its Important

Sweden is at the forefront of innovation in many fields, but when it comes to financial innovation, particularly Bitcoin adoption, we are falling behind. While other countries in Europe like are making significant strides in integrating Bitcoin into retail and daily transactions, Sweden lags in this area. This is particularly ironic given that Sweden is home to the world's oldest central bank, Riksbanken, founded in 1668. However, with the right approach and awareness, Bitcoin can offer a solution to many of the financial challenges we face, such as inflation and central bank dependency.
